Barrett Paving inspected Lilac Park Drive (Route 11 to Route 81) and quoted $133,411 for milling and paving, but told trustees a catch-basin installation would require engineered plans before Barrett could quote that portion. Barrett also said full milling might not be necessary depending on engineering results.
On Tower Road, Barrett recommended against paving at this time, stating the road needs larger culverts and improved ditches to stop repeated washouts. The board is awaiting an engineering estimate from B&L and was advised to consider contacting GYMO for additional engineering options. Trustees also noted an emergency repair had been performed on Tower Road by Thomas Excavating after a recent washout.
