Quinlan ISD board reviews budget figures, approves amendment and schedules public tax-rate hearing for June 26

District business manager Rebecca Pfeil told trustees that April revenues were $3,316,306.82 and expenditures were $3,616,947.31, leaving a Cash Flow ending balance of $46,977,026.36. Taxes collected for April 2025 totaled $219,237.27. Those figures were presented as part of the regular Budget Report to the board.
Later in the meeting Pfeil presented Budget Amendment #05-19-01. Trustee Todd Darter moved to approve the amendment, and Billie Miller seconded; the motion "carried 6-0." The board also voted to set a public special meeting on the budget and proposed tax rate for Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Joe Martin Administration Building Board Room (motion carried 6-0).
