Princeton ISD board approves budget amendment, staffing additions and authorizes bond issuance parameters

The Princeton Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a budget amendment and several staffing and financing actions Oct. 21.
Trustee John Campbell moved to approve the budget amendment; Duane Kelly seconded and the motion passed unanimously. President Cyndi Darland then moved to fill all elementary positions as needed and to add one additional business office payroll position; Duane Kelly seconded and that motion also passed unanimously.
Trustee Duane Kelly moved to give Mr. Donald McIntyre and Mrs. Jona Boitmann authority to approve the order authorizing the issuance of "Princeton Independent School District Unlimited Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2024; establishing sale parameters; levying an annual ad valorem tax and providing for the security for and payment of said bonds; and enacting other provisions relating to the subject." John Campbell seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record the bond instrument by name but do not include sale parameters, amounts, or schedule in the open session minutes.
