Freeburg board meeting roundup: committee reports and adjournment

The Village of Freeburg Board convened on Aug. 4, 2025 and heard reports from Finance, Legal/Ordinance, Personnel/Police committees as well as ESDA and the village engineer. No resolutions, ordinances, contracts, or annexations were introduced during the meeting and no public participants spoke.
Trustee James (Mike) Blaies moved to adjourn the regular meeting at 7:50 p.m.; Trustee Elizabeth (Lisa) Meehling seconded the motion. "All voting aye, the motion carried," and the meeting was adjourned. The board announced upcoming meetings and the next regular board meeting is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2025.
