Trustee Tom Carpenter, chair of the finance committee, told the board the committee reviewed several expenses including Display Sales (flags), charges on the Regions commercial card and IMEA conference travel. Carpenter said Treasurer Bryan A. Vogel was able to "lock in the Electric CD" as approved previously.
Administrator Matt Trout told trustees the village should be "around 33% this month" in revenue and warned that pool receipts are down compared with last year because of poor summer weather. Trout and Treasurer Vogel are working with auditors on an interfund transfer into the Garbage fund. Trout also said the village will begin its liability insurance renewal and asked whether the board was comfortable staying with Gallagher.
