Raymondville ISD approves athletic upgrades budget amendment, insurance renewal and solicits bids for services

As part of the consent agenda on Feb. 11, the Raymondville ISD Board of Trustees approved Budget Amendment #25-002 to fund athletic upgrades and authorized procurement actions including solicitation of Requests for Proposal for districtwide charter bus services and a roof remodel for a resiliency center at the old L.C. Smith Cafeteria.
The board also approved renewal of the district's property and casualty insurance coverage through Property Casualty Alliance of Texas (PCAT) and Coastal Property Alliance of Texas (CPAT) and the subsequent payment to Carlisle Insurance Agency for the renewal premium. The consent items passed by a 7-0 vote.
The minutes list the budget amendment number and the insurance vendors; specific contract amounts, timelines for upgrades and RFP specifications were not included in the open minutes and will be developed in procurement documents.
