Supervisor John Haughton called the Town of Manheim board to order at 7:17 p.m. and the board confirmed attendance and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilman Peter Jaikin moved to approve the minutes of the March 9, 2026 Regular Board Meeting; Councilwoman Gressler seconded the motion, which passed with "Ayes All." The board then approved Abstract #4 of 2026, Payrolls #6 and #7 of 2026, the Supervisor's February report with a correction to the General Town outside cash, and the Clerk's Report for March 2026; each motion was recorded as unanimous.
These approvals covered routine municipal administration and financial oversight. The board's motions were recorded in the minutes as follows: "to approve the minutes of the March 9, 2026 Regular Board Meeting" (moved by Councilman Peter Jaikin, seconded by Councilwoman Gressler) and other motions to accept abstracts, payrolls and reports. No substantive policy changes or contested votes occurred during these items. The meeting proceeded to privilege-of-the-floor matters and department reports after completing routine business.
