Raymondville ISD board approves election orders, voting systems and designates elections administrator for May 3, 2025

The Raymondville Independent School District Board of Trustees approved several election-related items on Feb. 11 in preparation for the May 3, 2025 General Election, including an Election Order and Election Notice and a resolution adopting voting systems for that election.
The board also designated Chief Financial Officer David Longoria as the district's Elections Administrator for the May 3 election and approved a contract with the County of Willacy (County Elections Officer) and a Joint Election Agreement with the City of Raymondville to coordinate election services. All election-related consent items were approved as part of the consent agenda by a 7-0 vote.
The items approved included procedural and contracting steps necessary to run the election on May 3, 2025; the election date was stated in board documents and the minutes.
