Raymondville ISD CFO reports $3.48 million tax levy and $4.46 million in investments

Chief Financial Officer David Longoria presented the tax collection and business/financial reports during the Jan. 14 Raymondville ISD board meeting.
Longoria reported a tax levy of $3,475,348.89 and said $809,171 — 23.28% of the levy — was collected in December 2024. He also listed total district investments of $4,461,361 and reviewed the district's investment portfolio, revenues and expenditures and a list of operating checks as of Dec. 31, 2024. The presentation was included as part of the Superintendent's report.
Board members did not pull the financial items for separate discussion and proceeded to approve consent items containing payments and procurement matters linked to the district's funds.
