"Human skills—critical thinking, collaboration, empathy, judgment—have to remain the priority," Raynard said, adding that the committee favored a living red‑orange‑green framework (updated annually) and separate frameworks for teachers and students.
Raynard also emphasized assessment challenges posed by AI: if students can generate final products with AI, evaluators should focus on process, performance and authentic demonstrations of understanding. The committee will share the document of focus areas and key questions as input for administrators to use in future curricular decisions.
