Student government representatives Robbie Grimes and Alex Robinson gave their final report to the Board, recapping a busy month of senior activities and student successes.
Robbie Grimes described prom at the VIP Country Club on the 5th, senior field day events (tug of war, kickball, yoga, pilates, egg-and-spoon races) and the senior festival with carnival games and a DJ. Alex Robinson added that Stuka (a senior recognition event) included cards and goodbye speeches and announced valedictorian and salutatorian selections: Jack Cohen (valedictorian) and Nate Coolidge (salutatorian). He also congratulated Will Cohen on winning next year's student-government presidency.
Both student representatives noted that several internships had exit meetings with advisors and that some internship experiences have been converted into paid summer internships or job opportunities. "So the valedictorian is Jack Cohen, salutatorian is Nate Coolidge," Alex said during the report. The students invited questions from the Board and were publicly thanked for their service.
