Ariel Diskin reported that the Rhinebeck Nonprofit School Foundation's spring fundraiser, Denim and Drinks, was attended by more than 100 people and generated over $40,000 to fund four grants across the district. Diskin said the grants will support participation in a tri‑state consortium, an athletic speaker for the fall, student‑requested initiatives such as Panthers with Purpose and a Shark Tank style program, and audio equipment purchases for Daniel Warren and Bellows.
"We are so proud of this community coming together," Diskin said, thanking volunteers and donors and inviting others to donate or join raffles via the foundation’s website. The fundraising proceeds will be used for the four grants the foundation showcased at the event and to support school programming in the coming year.
