The board moved to declare several pieces of town equipment surplus so they can be sold or disposed of. Members authorized declaring a floating dock at the Highway Barn, an old ice machine at the transfer site, and a tractor with an offset mower surplus; each motion passed by voice vote. "So I need a motion to declare that surplus," the chair said before the board approved the actions.
Separately, the board considered bids for screws needed at a town building and approved accepting the lowest bid from Felder's. A member moved "to go with Felder's," and the motion carried after a second. The actions free up storage space and return modest funds to the town's accounts.
