A board member explained that Niagara Mohawk required signatures from Brent and Mike to move forward with power to a storage-transfer site. "The Village lawyer definitely recommended that we just do a quick claim deed to get the right name on it the way it should be," said the board member (Speaker 3). The speaker said the village lawyer had prepared the paperwork and the town would be responsible for the filing costs.
Motion to sign the deed was made during the meeting; the motion was moved by Sean and seconded by Bridal. Chair called for a voice vote; the board voiced their assent and no opposition was recorded. The motion instructs the town to execute the quitclaim deed and pay the associated filing fees so utility hookups can proceed.
