Rockport-Fulton ISD receives 'Superior' FIRST rating; staff review revenue and enrollment projections

During the Nov. 20 meeting Kathy Henderson opened the required public hearing for the 2023 FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) report and informed trustees that the district received a 'superior' rating. There were no public comments during the hearing.
Henderson then led a budget workshop covering preliminary final revenue and expenditures for 2023–24, a snapshot comparing 2024–25 student enrollment to projections, and revised projected state revenue and recapture for 2024–25. Trustees asked several follow-up questions about enrollment projections; Henderson said she would pull additional information requested by the board.
