Rockport-Fulton board forms Finance Committee to study budget and insurance

The Rockport-Fulton ISD Board moved to form a Finance Committee that will include parents, staff and board members and focus on budgeting, finance and insurance matters. Superintendent Dr. Lesley Austin told trustees the committee will meet for the first time in December and begin by examining insurance and next year's budget.
At the Nov. 20 meeting trustees recommended that Logan Burton and Nikki Yarnall serve as board representatives on the committee. The committee is intended to provide additional review and community input on financial decisions and insurance options before the board takes further action.
