The motion carried on a recorded unanimous vote: Connie Burgess (yea), Kim Chandler (yea), Julie Jackson (yea), Nicole McDermott (yea), Clarke Nelson (yea), Kris Nguyen (yea), and Karyn Winder (yea).
The board recessed for five minutes and then convened the executive session at 6:49 p.m. Attendees listed for the executive session included the seven trustees and several members of the district administration (General Counsel Doug Larson, Superintendent Ben Horsley, Assistant Superintendents Don Adams, Leslie Bell and John Welburn, Chief of Staff Mitch Nerdin, Business Administrator Todd Hauber and Executive Secretary Stacy Bushell). Clarke Nelson moved to adjourn the executive session; Julie Jackson seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The executive session adjourned at 7:46 p.m., and the subsequent motion to adjourn the meeting (moved by Karyn Winder and seconded by Clarke Nelson) carried on the same unanimous vote tally.
