The Board of Trustees of Wink-Loving ISD voted unanimously April 14 to approve Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert & Moss as the district's professional auditing firm for the 2024–25 school year.
Superintendent Scotty Carman presented the recommendation, noting prior performance and an on-time audit schedule. Trustee Chad Evans moved to approve the engagement and Trustee Raymond Dodd seconded. “I make a motion to Approve Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert & Moss as our Professional Auditing Firm for the 2024-2025 School Year Including the Engagement Contract as presented,” Trustee Evans said; the motion passed unanimously.
The board did not discuss a change in audit scope or fees in the minutes; administration described the engagement fee as comparable to last year. No follow-up tasks or deadlines were recorded in the minutes.
