The board approved several routine permits and policies at the March 24 meeting. Trustees authorized pavilion use for an artist, Cris Ortiz, for fall neon glass classes and holiday displays; they also approved Field Day pavilion use June 28–July 5 and a Girl Scouts event on Sept. 19 from 7–10 p.m. Trustee Jeffrey Warren moved and Trustee Sarah Hubbell seconded pavilion approvals and the motions passed unanimously.
Trustees approved the 2026 brush policy after a motion by Trustee Warren and a second from Trustee Iris Mead. The board also authorized DFW at 768 Main St. to apply for liquor licenses. Members discussed food trucks briefly, noting the town treats them as seasonal restaurant permits on private property (the property owner obtains the permit) and that state rules require a 150‑foot radius around the truck; the board said zoning must define a seasonal permit to set local guidelines.
No fees, enrollment rules or later enforcement steps were adopted for food trucks or pavilion rentals at the March 24 meeting; staff were asked to follow up with scheduling and permit guidance.
