During the July 9 meeting Superintendent’s remarks highlighted the district's recent programs and student achievements. The minutes note a "Successful Safety City program for approximately 30 kiddos," covering stranger danger, 911 use, water safety at the Francis Family YMCA, bike, fire and bus safety; Deputy Rollins is planning next year’s sessions.
Academics updates reported several AP Chemistry and first-year AP Physics students scored a 3 or higher on their exams, and one student earned a 5 on the AP Biology exam despite not having taken the AP Biology course. Summer school is scheduled for July 21 through August 14, 2025. The minutes also record a $100 donation from Kelli Tuller to the Summer Engagement Program.
