At its Aug. 14 meeting the San Elizario ISD Board endorsed Ms. Marlene Bullard for a TASB director position and named delegates for the upcoming TASA/TASB convention. Trustee Sandra Licon moved to endorse Bullard; the motion passed 6–0 with one absence.
Trustee Myrna Hernandez moved that Lorenzo Luevano serve as the district delegate to the TASB Delegate Assembly on Sept. 28 in San Antonio, with Trustee Monica Chavez as alternate; that motion also passed by recorded vote. The minutes list the appointments and the convention date for public notice.
