Royse City ISD board approves several hires and ratifies staff resignations

On a motion by Trustee Bobby Summers, seconded by Trustee Eric Fort, the board approved recommendations to hire Autumn Teague (Baley), Jiayan Ge (Herndon), Jasmine Valdez (Arnold), Haleigh McManus (Arnold) and Jenee Prewitt (Vernon). The vote was 6–0 (1 absent). Later, Superintendent Dr. Anderson asked trustees to ratify her acceptance of resignations from Brittany Powell (Baley), Deedra Mann (Herndon), Anna Norris (Baley), Cheri Froehling (Curriculum), Hannah Carter (DAEP/ALC), and Jessie Page (Scott); Trustee Jessica Ratterree moved to ratify and Trustee Brian Zator seconded the motion, which passed 6–0 (1 absent).
