Marlborough board authorizes advertising for fuel and highway hauling bids; April 16 deadline set

The Town Board adopted two resolutions to solicit sealed bids for town procurement.
Under Resolution #32 the board authorized the Town Clerk to advertise for bids on fuel items (Item #1: propane; Item #2: heating fuel). Resolution #32 requires that all sealed bids be accompanied by a signed non-collusion affidavit and be received at the Town Clerk’s office, 21 Milton Turnpike, Milton NY 12547, by 2:00 p.m. on April 16, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.
Under Resolution #33 the board authorized advertising for highway hauling services, listing rates for material hauling by 10-wheel dump truck, tri-axle dump truck, tri-axle dump trailer and quad-axle trailer. The resolution includes the same non-collusion affidavit requirement and the same April 16, 2026, 2:00 p.m. deadline for bid submission. Both resolutions were adopted with recorded yeas from Councilmembers Appler, Sessa, Zambito and Supervisor Corcoran; Councilmember Cauchi was absent.
