Trustees approve $337,138.13 contractor draw; EPA reimbursement expected

Consultant Ron Legner reported that EL Pruitt, the contractor for the water-main replacement, filed for a first payment under a $2.54 million contract. "The first payment that they have applied for would total 337 thousand 138 dollars and thirteen cents," Legner said, and he added that the disbursement request would also seek reimbursement of about $281,000 in previously authorized engineering expenses for a combined EPA draw of roughly $618,000.
Trustee Lawrence moved to authorize the payout to EL Pruitt and Trustee Nelson seconded; the motion passed on an all-aye vote. Legner said the EPA reimbursement would help replenish village capital used on engineering and early contractor work.
