Board passes annual appropriation, tax levy and related compliance ordinances

Trustees also passed the Annual Tax Levy Ordinance and an ordinance determining the estimated amount to be raised by taxation after separate motions and seconders. Trustee Dees moved and Trustee Nelson seconded approval of the Truth in Taxation certificate of compliance. All motions passed with unanimous "All Ayes" votes.
The items were handled consecutively under new business and recorded without extended debate. The board did not provide detailed line-item discussion in open session beyond voting to adopt the ordinances.
