At its Aug. 3 meeting the board approved a Baker Street block party, appointed Molly Dugan to the trails committee, retroactively approved a culvert replacement, amended a purchase order for a plow body, approved elevator repairs charged to Town Center funds, and authorized printing and mailing of the November municipal ballot for justices of the peace.
The Richmond Select Board approved several actions during the Aug. 3 meeting. Members voted to close Baker (Baker) Street for a block party on Sept. 12, 2026 (rain date Sept. 19), appointed Molly Dugan to the trails committee for a three‑year term, and retroactively approved replacement of a failing culvert on the class‑4 section of Johnny Brook Road after the road foreman inspected the work.
The board also amended purchase order #5191 for a plow body to a new total of $18,315, approved paying $4,749.16 from the Town Center Fund for library elevator parts pending possible insurance or utility reimbursement, and authorized the town to print and have the state mail the municipal ballot (justices of the peace) on the backside of the Nov. 3, 2026 general election ballot. Motions passed by recorded votes where indicated.
