Members recommended the group walk potential alignments, consult the county forester on buffer line clarity and prepare a package for the full committee to review at least a couple of weeks before any vote.
The chair suggested the subgroup produce a short, clear draft and allow members time to review it in advance to prevent last‑minute editing during full meetings. The committee scheduled continuing discussions and encouraged subgroup members to coordinate with town staff to publish georeferenced maps and to line up technical support for monitoring metrics.
Next steps: a working group will form, meet outside a quorum and bring a refined proposal and mapping assets back to the full committee in advance of the next scheduled meeting.
