It is a k 12 grant. ... we have $220,530 a year for 5 years," the superintendent told the board, saying the award will fund the district's Friday program and other summer opportunities. The superintendent said the grant will support new activities including a fencing club, esports programming and weightlifting opportunities, and thanked staff who wrote the application. The board did not take separate formal action on the grant during the meeting.
