Presenter (Elementary) reported that elementary enrollment "we're at 2 0 1 right now." The presenter said staff attended a Montana Association of School District Attorneys conference in Missoula for professional development, which included sessions on current legal cases, investigation techniques and social media guidance for staff and students. On assessments, the presenter said mass assessments are nearly complete but data are still being reconciled with OPI and staff expect the presentation format update will help teachers use the results.
The presenter praised the Veterans Day assembly, thanking Mrs. Ronnsberg and Mrs. Heilig for organizing students' performances, and noted parent-teacher conference participation was about "over 94%" with an expectation of approaching 100% after outstanding makeups. The presenter also noted a recent DPHHS Parenting Montana visit focused on tobacco avoidance and said the visit provided tools for families. "I thought it was very interesting," the presenter said of the Missoula workshop, calling it "a worthwhile day."
