Commission backs three pedestrian‑safety projects in Harrisburg and Susquehanna Township

The second project in Susquehanna Township would build pedestrian connections and safety features at four priority locations, including sidewalks and curb ramps. The third project on Blackberry Street in Harrisburg would expand pedestrian walking areas between the Amtrak station and 2nd Street, add raised pavers to match existing curbing and include arbor features and bollards. Commissioners approved the combined recommendation in a single motion.
