Staff member Jerry told commissioners the planning office will soon convene municipal planners on Aug. 12 to collect input for the comprehensive plan steering committee and start using grant funds to advance the project. He also said the building activity report has been finalized and published on the Tri‑County website, noting a rise in apartment conversions in Harrisburg.
On grant funds, Jerry said, "We got another $1,200,000 to spend for the next year 2 years." The office plans to begin steering‑committee work and spend down grant money to move the comp plan and associated regional projects toward completion by next year.
