Council members and staff discussed next steps for advocacy and grant strategy ahead of a visit from Senator Lucas; staff said they would ask council members to attend a Rotary event to emphasize support for federal funding. The proposal also highlights community resilience measures — an on-site emergency operations command center and tornado-shelter capability — that proponents said are currently lacking in Noble County.
