The Ancram Town Board approved several appointments and recognitions during the meeting. The board adopted resolutions appointing Tom Siano/Ciano to the conservation advisory council and the housing committee and appointed Darren Mosher as the second alternate to the zoning board of appeals, with his term running through 2025.
The board also approved a recognition resolution for Fred Schneeberger, honoring his decades of volunteer service to the town. Fred spoke remotely, recounted his history on planning and zoning boards and said he was stepping back from volunteer duties because of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. "It's been an honor and a pleasure to serve the town... my volunteer days are over," Fred said. The board approved the warrants and bills and concluded regular business; there was no executive session.
