The city engineer (speaker 4) updated council on multiple public-works projects. On the golf course clubhouse, the concrete slab is complete, doors are being installed, HVAC and electrical work are underway and final site paving is imminent. The engineer invited council members to tour progress in person.
On street work, Del Segno will mobilize for Market Street paving with concurrent alternate street work, manhole and catch-basin reconstruction and a traffic maintenance plan coordinated with police and DOT. The Crescent Avenue bridge will be closed around Halloween for demolition and pile foundation installation this fall and winter, with the remainder of the bridge work scheduled for completion in spring to early summer next year.
