The code sets a progressive discipline scale: first offense results in confiscation and student pick-up after school; subsequent offenses escalate to parent notification, lunch detention, in-school suspension (ISS), and possible placement in a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) for up to 30 days for continued violations.
The board approved the code by unanimous vote among trustees present.
