Comal County public health reports 340 immunizations in September, announces Nov. 5 flu clinic

Comal County Public Health Director Cheryl Frazier presented the department’s September report to the Commissioners Court, listing immunizations, lab tests and notifiable conditions that triggered epidemiologic investigations.
Frazier said the department conducted 340 immunizations in September, including 106 off-site flu vaccines, and reported 22 lab tests with 33 confirmed notifiable-condition cases after 51 epidemiologic investigations. She announced a county vaccine clinic on Nov. 5 with walk-in flu vaccine availability from 9 to 11 a.m.; "It is $25 to the public," Frazier said, and provided the appointment number (830-221-1150) and the public health office address at 1297 Churchill Drive, Suite 102, New Braunfels.
The report also noted the public-health team’s outreach activities and updated CPR guidance for instructors. No additional budget action was requested during the presentation.
