Comal County Commissioners on Oct. 30 read and approved a proclamation recognizing the 64th annual Wurstfest, scheduled for Nov. 2025, and thanked organizers for the event’s economic and cultural contributions.
Keith Wurzteffer, identified as the 2025 president of the Wurstfest Association, thanked the court and local public-safety leadership and invited the community to attend. "Please come join us November 6th through the 17th on the beautiful banks of the Canal River," Wurzteffer said. Organizers introduced the general chairman and festival leaders during the brief presentation.
The proclamation encourages county residents to participate in and enjoy festival activities; the court approved the ceremonial recognition by voice vote. Organizers noted public-safety coordination with the sheriff’s department and encouraged attendance.
