Shallowater ISD recognizes student achievements, reviews reports and holds board training

Administrators presented the superintendent’s report with facilities and legislative updates and a recruiting and marketing overview; the assistant superintendent presented the TAPR and a calendar review. The business manager provided a financial report tied to the district goal on maintaining a transparent balanced budget. The board convened a closed session under provisions listed from the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, from 8:21–8:25 p.m., then held board training on Evaluating & Improving Student Outcomes (EISO) through ESC Region 17 from 8:30–9:52 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 9:53 p.m.
