The Shallowater Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to order a general election for two at‑large school board trustees to be held May 3, 2025. Trustee Bradley Price moved to order the election; Trustee Alana Hayes seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously.
The board also approved the Notice and Order for early voting and election day, appointed Roxzine Stinson, Elections Administrator, to serve as both the Joint Early Voting Clerk and the Joint Elections Officer, and named the Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue as the main early voting polling place. The board listed Jan. 15–Feb. 14, 2025 as the filing window for school board applications. All election‑related motions were seconded by Alana Hayes and passed unanimously.
