At the Oct. 29 meeting the Seguin ISD Board received multiple academic reports including the Bilingual/ESL Program Evaluation and Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment (TELPAS) results for 2023–24 and a Beginning-of-Year literacy data review for 2024–25.
The bilingual/ESL presentation noted compliance with Texas Administrative Code 89.1265 requiring an annual report of educational performance and progress for limited English proficient students. District staff also reviewed beginning-of-year reading progress measured by Istation (ISIP) and TEA interim assessments to identify students needing additional supports.
