Seguin ISD board approves 2024 ACFR, delegates easement authority and names Matador Legends Ballpark

The Seguin ISD Board approved the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. The district will submit the ACFR to the Government Financial Officers Association for consideration; the district has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting since 1990.
The board also delegated authority to Chief Financial Officer Elizabeth Oaks to execute easements and related documents for property at 1005 E. Seideman Street in connection with a transportation facility project. In separate motions, trustees approved naming the Seguin High School Baseball and Softball Complex 'Matador Legends Ballpark' and designated the softball and baseball batting cages in memory of Chloe Belicek and Manuel Rodriguez, respectively. Votes on these items were unanimous among members present.
