The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees approved a consent agenda at its Oct. 29 meeting that included prior meeting minutes, tax collection and financial reports, the district's investment report, and multiple vendor pools for districtwide services.
"Ms. Duncan moved, seconded by Mr. Bright to approve Consent Action Items," the minutes record. The agenda items approved included Proposed Budget Amendments and Financial Statements for the General Fund, Child Nutrition Fund and Debt Service Fund as of Aug. 31, 2024; a donations report totaling $1,750 for September 2024; and the Investment Report for the first quarter ended Sept. 30, 2024. The board also approved the award pools for Vehicle Maintenance, Parts, and Services (RFP 24-01), Special Education Services (RFP 24-05), and Educational Consulting Services (RFP 24-06). Each awarded pool will remain active through June 30, 2026, with an additional one-year extension provision noted in the exhibits.
The motion carried with ayes from trustees Bright, Crettenden, Duncan, Guerra, Jenkins, and Mueller and no nays. The minutes note the Guadalupe County Tax Assessor-Collector provided the tax collection report for September 2024, and that the RFP solicitations were competitively procured in accordance with district policy.
