The county's current EMA vehicle, a 2020 Dodge Ram with just over 103,000 miles, has reliability concerns. Commissioners agreed that four-wheel drive, towing ability and secure cargo space are priorities. They authorized soliciting bids for a larger enclosed vehicle that can tow equipment and serve as a command vehicle; the vote was 3-0.
