A longtime advisory-board volunteer described a recent productive meeting of the Office for the Aging and urged local seniors to complete a pending survey that will inform services. The commenter said the survey should arrive in late August and asked the board to post contact information and promote participation so underused services are identified and preserved.
"The most important thing, I think, that's happening right now is that there's going to be a senior survey... I encourage everyone to answer it," the commenter said. Board members agreed to place contact phone numbers and links on the town website and to help distribute the survey when it is finalized.
