Board tolls FCC shot clock, asks for supplemental submissions and schedules Aug. 7 continuation

During procedural discussion the applicant explained the federal ‘‘shot clock’’ for wireless siting review began on May 30 and that the review was about 35 days into the 150‑day period. The applicant told the board it would not force the shot clock if review was progressing and offered to toll (stop) the clock until it submits supplemental material.
The board invited the town’s wireless consultant Cityscape and proposed a separate visual reviewer to provide independent analyses. The chair asked the applicant to deliver a supplemental submission with RF and visual clarifications in time for the Aug. 7 meeting. The applicant said it expected to provide responsive materials in days or weeks and that it would be amenable to stop the shot clock until that submission is filed.
A board member moved to continue the public hearing to Aug. 7; the motion passed and the meeting adjourned. The board recorded that if the review is progressing the parties will discuss a formal extension of the shot clock later.
