Trustees receive strategic plan, behavior-system and compliance updates; SB 413 audio-recording rule noted

At the Aug. 17 meeting, Dr. Gore provided a first‑quarter update on the district strategic plan. Mr. Worrell and Dr. Duncan briefed trustees on the Minga behavior points system introduced at Snyder Junior High. Mrs. Koiner presented an update on Special Education and 504 compliance, and Dr. Gore offered initial information about a possible reconfiguration of the Primary and Intermediate campuses.
Board members were informed that SB 413 requires audio recording of all regular and called board meetings and that recordings must be made available upon request; staff indicated there is no statutory duty to post recordings online. The superintendent’s report also included routine trackers and scheduled events, and the next regular meeting was set for Nov. 13, 2025.
