Several Red Lion residents used the public-comment portion of the meeting to raise routine quality-of-life concerns and request borough action. Dustin Werner reported streetlights out at Franklin St and Wallick Lane and provided pole number 31950-20725, saying he had called First Energy twice; council agreed to follow up. Brad and Cindy Stermer requested a refund or reimbursement for a Hometown Hero banner that has broken twice since 2023; Public Works (Brett Patterson) said the sign could be rehung with new hardware and Tony Musso offered to pay for replacement hardware if needed.
Other residents urged actions on dog waste (LuAnn Hildebrand asked for signage and council discussed adding doggy trash stations via a DCNR grant), truck routing/signage at N. Main and Church St. (requested by Justin Keithan), and noise enforcement and early trash pickup (raised by Susan Krout, who was advised to document incidents for Codes Enforcement). The council recorded the concerns and suggested next steps — signage, coordination with the trash hauler, and follow-up with First Energy and Codes Enforcement.
