Maybrook board adopts resolution to annex Rakov parcel

The Village of Maybrook Board of Trustees voted to adopt a resolution of findings and order in favor of annexing a parcel from Theresa Rakov, Kathryn L. Van Patten and Lisa St. John into the village. Attorney K. Naughton provided the Board with the resolution language and described the step as determining the annexation is in the overall public interest.
Deputy Mayor Charles Woznick moved to adopt the resolution and Trustee Daryl Capozzoli seconded; the Board recorded 4 ayes, 0 nays. The Board announced that next month it will hold a public hearing on an introductory Local Law to change zoning related to the annexation and will review Part 2 of the full environmental assessment form for the Yuan Fa Da subdivision as part of the process.
