Superintendent Bob Rauch recommended adoption of two local policy updates at the Nov. 11 meeting: EFB (LOCAL), addressing library materials collection, and FNCE (LOCAL), addressing personal telecommunications/electronic devices.
Doug Neff moved to approve the policy adoptions as presented, and Michael Rodriquez seconded. The board voted unanimously to adopt both EFB (LOCAL) and FNCE (LOCAL). No public comment or amendments were recorded during the action.
Separately, Superintendent Rauch recommended tabling Policy Update 126 until December to allow staff time to finalize changes; the board consented to delay that item.
