Savoy ISD hears elementary and high school reports; recognizes staff and student of the month
Summary
Elementary and high school leaders presented board reports; the board recognized teachers and staff of the month at both campuses and named Presley Walker Senior of the Month.
The board heard reports from the elementary and high school during the Sept. 9 meeting. Danny Henderson delivered the elementary report and Rory Hilliard delivered the high school report "as presented" to the board; no motions or votes were associated with these presentations.
The board recognized campus honorees: Elementary Teacher of the Month Joyce Maxwell and Elementary Staff of the Month Kelli Ackermann; High School Teacher of the Month Marci Streetman and High School Staff of the Month Amber Fite. The board also named Presley Walker as Senior of the Month. An informational note indicated football district passes were available at the table.
